Paid Positions
Tennis and Community Development Specialist
(Grand Rapids, MI) Design and conduct tennis training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. Assess training opportunities through focus groups and consultations with tennis instructors and participants. Serve as internal resource for tennis program development and activities and create dynamic tennis programming. Engage in all aspects of community outreach, including budgeting, administrative functions, tennis program functions and tennis program development. Present information on a variety of tennis instructional techniques. Identify community and customer needs by assessing program responsiveness and initiating partnership with other community-based tennis organizations.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science or a closely related field required and one year of experience coaching tennis and developing tennis programming at the university level required. Please email resumes to wmctennis@gmail.com.
